Overview
Tuxing's self-contained scuba compressor (model TXEDT032). Unlike the TXEDM042, the water cooling is fully built in, with an internal reservoir and three fans, so there's no external bucket or pump. It's a two-stage compressor rated at 50 L/min and 4500 PSI (300 bar), with alloy cylinders and two water/oil separators. Filtration is two stages: air comes in through a molecular sieve intake, then passes a cotton filter and a mixed carbon, molecular sieve, and cotton cartridge. Water-cooled: don't let it freeze.
Stored in an unheated garage, shop, or truck, plain water in the cooling loop can freeze and crack the water jacket, pump, or lines. Use an antifreeze mix rated for your coldest temperatures, or drain it before storage. Additives like WaterWetter and Purple Ice do not prevent freezing.
